Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIE) has announced that the PlayStation 4 controllers will be delayed until “later this year.” This is in addition to the already-announced delay of the PlayStation VR headset. The delay is likely due to a number of factors, including the increasing popularity of virtual reality and the need for more development time to perfect both products. It’s also possible that Sony is looking to focus on other projects, such as its new game console, the PlayStation 5. Whatever the reason, it’s a shame that we won’t be able to play some of our favorite games until later this year.
