Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIE) has announced that it will restore licenses for PlayStation 4 games to players who have them installed. This is in addition to the company’s existing policy of offering a one-time refund for any game purchase that includes a PS4 license. This policy change comes as a result of the company’s recent decision to no longer offer physical discs for PlayStation 4 games. Instead, players will need to purchase digital copies of the games. “We want our customers to be able to play their favorite PlayStation 4 games, and this change in policy will help make that possible,” said SIE President Shawn Layden in a statement. “We appreciate all of our customers’ patience as we work to make these changes.”
