Fans of The Legend of Zelda have been eagerly awaiting news of a movie adaptation ever since the game was released over 30 years ago. And now, it seems that their prayers have been answered. According to a recent poll by FandomSpot, The Legend of Zelda Voted Most Wanted Game-to-Movie Adaptation. This puts the game at the top of a list that includes such classics as Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. The poll was conducted in order to find out what fans want to see adapted next and it seems that Link’s adventures are definitely at the top of everyone’s list. Out of all the games on the list, Zelda has the most dedicated fanbase, with almost half (47%) saying they would definitely go see a movie based on it. This is great news for fans of The Legend of Zelda who have been waiting for years for something like this to happen. With so many popular adaptations already out there, it will be hard to get people to invest time and money into making a movie based on something that isn’t guaranteed to be successful. But if there is enough interest in Link’s story, maybe someone will take notice and make it happen. ..
