Pokémon fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Pokémon Emerald and ORAS, two new entries in the series. With both games being released on the same day, it was only natural that there would be a lot of comparisons between the two titles. Here are five of the best normal-type Pokémon in Emerald and ORAS, based on our own personal preferences:

  1. Machamp – Machamp is one of our all-time favorite normal-type Pokémon. It has a powerful punch that can take down even the strongest opponents, as well as its ability Guts which makes it immune to most moves. Machamp is perfect for any team, and can easily take down even the most experienced opponents.
  2. Dragonite – Dragonite is another perfect normal-type for any team. It has a powerful dragon breath that can take down even the toughest opponents, as well as its ability Intimidate which makes it less likely to be taken down by other Pokémon. Dragonite is also very fast, making it easy to outrun your opponents.
  3. Gyarados – Gyarados is another amazing normal-type Pokémon that many people have been looking forward to seeing in Emerald and ORAS. Gyarados has a massive body that makes it difficult for other Pokémon to hit it with attacks, as well as its ability Intimidate which makes it less likely to be taken down by other Pokémon or trainers. Gyarados is perfect for any team, and can easily take down even the most experienced opponents or trainers in no time at all!
