A recent study has shown that 69% of gamers hate virtual currencies (NFTs) and their associated platforms. The study, conducted by market research company Ipsos, surveyed 1,500 gamers across a number of different genres. The survey found that the majority of gamers believe that NFTs are a waste of time and money. Only 26% of respondents felt that they were beneficial to the gaming industry as a whole. The study also found that most gamers believe that developers are not taking advantage of NFTs in order to make more money.
