If you’re a text message user on Android, there’s a good chance you’re using the messaging app to communicate with friends and family. But if you want to be able to unmute messages, or just stop receiving them, there are a few steps you can take. To unmute messages on Android, open the messaging app and select the “options” menu. From here, select “unmute.” If you don’t have an option to unmute messages in the options menu, then you’ll need to find and open the “settings” app and change the “message unblocking” setting to “off.”
