Windows Live is a suite of online services that allow users to stay connected with friends and family, share photos and videos, and access their email. However, if you no longer need or want to use Windows Live, you can disable it easily. To disable Windows Live:
- Open the Start menu and click on the All Programs button.
- Click on the Windows Live icon.
- On the left-hand side of the window, click on the Settings tab.
- Under “General,” click on the “Use Windows Live” button. Disable all features: If you just want to disable all features of Windows Live, rather than selectively disabling individual features, you can do this by clicking on the “Disable all features” link at the bottom of the window (see image below).
