If you’re ever going to need to take apart a PlayStation 4 controller, there are a few things you’ll need. The first is a Phillips head screwdriver, as the screws on the back of the controller can be difficult to remove without it. Once you have the screws out, you’ll also need to remove the two joysticks and the paddles. Be careful not to damage any of the electronics inside the controller.
