If you’re a GTA 5 player on PlayStation 4, there’s a good chance that you’ve done something along the lines of this:
- Opened up the game’s options and changed your PS4’s system language to English.
- Played the game for a while and then stopped because you were bored or because you had other things to do.
- Went back to the options and changed your PS4’s system language back to French.
- Played the game for a while and then stopped because you were bored or because you had other things to do.
- Went back to the options and changed your PS4’s system language back to Spanish.
- Played the game for a while and then stopped because you were bored or because you had other things to do.
- Went back to the options and changed your PS4’s system language back to Italian, but now it says “Not compatible with this platform.” There are two ways around this problem: either change your PlayStation 4 firmware or uninstall GTA 5 from your PlayStation 4 account (assuming that it still exists). The first way is more complicated than it sounds, as changing your firmware can require rooting your console (or even buying a new one). The second way is more likely what will work for most people, as uninstallation of GTA 5 from an account works just as well - just be sure not to delete any save files that may have been created in between updates!
