Xbox 360 users can now enjoy Windows Media Center on their console, thanks to the addition of the Xbox One’s Windows Media Center app. This app allows users to control all of their media center devices, including their Xbox 360, through one central location. Additionally, the app includes a variety of features that make using Windows Media Center on Xbox 360 easier than ever. To set up Windows Media Center on your Xbox 360, first make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft’s media center software installed. If you don’t have it installed yet, you can find it here: Once you have Microsoft’s media center software installed, open it and click on the “Add Device” button in the top left corner. This will add a new device to your list called “Xbox 360.” Once this device is added, select it and click on the “Next” button in the top left corner. Now you will need to provide some information about your media center devices. In this example we are going to use an Xbox 360 and an HDTV. In the “Device Name” field enter “Xbox360.” In the “Location” field enter “My House.” Click on the “Next” button in the top left corner and provide additional information about your media center devices such as: -The type of TV or monitor that will be used: We are going to use an HDTV so enter “HDTV.” -The resolution that will be used: We are going to use a 1080p resolution so enter 1080p. -The color depth that will be used: We are going to use a color depth of 8 bits so enter 8 bits. Click on the “Next” button in the top left corner and provide any other necessary information about your media center devices such as: -The time zone that will be used: We are going to use America/New York so enter America/New York (UTC).
