If you’re using an iPhone to access your Google account, you need to set up a Google Authenticator app. This app authenticates your phone and helps keep your account safe. To set up a Google Authenticator app on your iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for “Google Authenticator.” If you don’t have the App Store installed on your iPhone, go to Settings and click on General. Then click on the App Store button.
- On the App Store screen, find the Google Authenticator app that you want to install. If you’re using an older version of the Google Authenticator app, you may need to update it first. The latest version of the Google Authenticator app is available at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.googleusercontentcodesign&hl=en&lr=0 .
- Tap on Install . The installation process will start automatically and will take a few minutes to finish. When it’s done, open the Google Authenticator app and enter your login information (username and password). You can also use this information to create new accounts if you want!
- After logging in, tap on My Accounts . In My Accounts , you’ll see a list of all of your accounts that are connected to your Google account! You can see which accounts are connected to your Google account by tapping on one of them in the list and then clicking on Edit . In Edit , you’ll be able to change some of the details about that account (like its name or email address). You can also add new friends who are allowed to sign in with their google authenticator credentials!
