Android devices come pre-loaded with military time, but if you want to set your own time zone, or if you’re traveling and need to adjust your clock for local time, here’s how.
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Under “Time & Language,” tap “Date & Time.”
- Under “Date & Time Zone,” tap the name of the time zone you want to use. (For example, if you’re in the Eastern Time Zone, tap “Eastern.”)
- Tap “Set Date and Time.”
- Enter your current date and time (MM/DD/YYYY). If you need to adjust your clock for daylight saving time, enter your DST start and end times as well.
- Tap OK to save your changes and return to the main Settings screen. ..
