Android devices come pre-loaded with military time, but if you want to set your own time zone, or if you’re traveling and need to adjust your clock for local time, here’s how.

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Under “Time & Language,” tap “Date & Time.”
  3. Under “Date & Time Zone,” tap the name of the time zone you want to use. (For example, if you’re in the Eastern Time Zone, tap “Eastern.”)
  4. Tap “Set Date and Time.”
  5. Enter your current date and time (MM/DD/YYYY). If you need to adjust your clock for daylight saving time, enter your DST start and end times as well.
  6. Tap OK to save your changes and return to the main Settings screen. ..
