USB is a standard connector that allows you to connect your Android phone to the computer. When you remove the USB cable from your Android phone, it will likely stop working. To safely remove USB from your Android phone, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the USB port on your computer.
  2. Remove the cover of your Android phone.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from your Android phone.
  4. Place your Android phone in front of the computer’s USB port.
  5. Plug in the power cord to your Android phone and plug it into an outlet on the wall.
  6. Press and hold down on one of the sides of your Android phone until it starts to turn blue (this is indicator that it is connected).
  7. Once connected, release the side you held down before turning off your device by pressing and holding again for about 10 seconds or until it turns off completely (this will disconnect USB from your device).
