If you don’t want to be a part of a Dropbox group anymore, there are a few steps you can take. First, open the group’s settings page. Next, click the “Members” tab and select the person you want to remove yourself from the group. Finally, click the “Remove Member” button. ..

To start, open Dropbox on your computer and click “Settings” in the top menu bar. This will bring you to Dropbox Settings page where you’ll find all relevant settings options listed across three tabs: General, Account Info & Security, Preferences (shown below).

You’ll see that under “Account info” it lists whether or not this is a Business account; next to “NAME” field there should be someone else who has access to your Dropbox account. At the bottom of this section, there is a “Remove person” button to remove their access from Dropbox.

Below Preferences, you’ll notice two more tabs: Shared Folders & Sync Settings; click on Shared Folders and then find the folder that you want to leave. Clicking on it will bring up all users who have permission to edit or move files in that shared Dropbox folder (shown below).
