The Facebook page The first step to remove your phone number from Facebook is to find out whether the page where your contact details are present is using Open Graph protocol or not. To do so, visit:  https://developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/  and Facebook will show you the list of Facebook pages that use Facebook’s Open Graph Protocol.

Click “Account Settings” at the bottom of the home page and a drop-down menu will appear. Select “Manage My Apps.” (If you don’t see an option for managing apps, scroll down further.) A new window will open where you can manage all of the apps that have been installed with Facebook permissions. In resulting dialog box , type in your phone number in the Facebook search bar. Facebook will display all of the Facebook apps that you have used Facebook permissions to access your phone number.

When you find out which app is using Facebook’s Open Graph Protocol, click on “X” icon next to it. This action will disable Facebook’s ability to use information from this particular app in its Open Graph Protocol and consequently remove contact information when a user shares content from Facebook with other social media sites. Repeat these steps for every app that has access to your phone number through Facebook’s Open Graph Protocol .
