If you’re like most people, you probably have buttons on your PlayStation 4 controller that are difficult or impossible to remove. Here’s how to remove them:

  1. Open the console and remove the two screws at the back of the controller.
  2. Remove the four screws that hold the buttons in place.
  3. Remove the buttons from the controller by pulling them outwards and then pushing them back inwards until they’re free from the plastic housing.
  4. Place the controllers on a surface and press down on one end of each button to remove it from its position on the controller.
