If you’re using Android, you may have noticed that there’s a notification bar at the top of the screen that says “Software Update.” This notification bar is used to show you information about new software updates for your device. If you don’t want to get these updates automatically, you can disable them. To do this, open the Settings app and go to “About phone.” Under “Build number” (or whatever number your phone has), look for “Android OS” and change it to “7.0.” Then, close the Settings app and restart your phone. Now, when you see the Software Update notification bar, it will be disabled.
