If you have an iPhone, then you know that there’s a built-in hotspot that allows you to easily connect to the internet. However, if you’re like most people, then you also have a personal hotspot set up on your device that is used for just one or two specific activities. This personal hotspot can be a nuisance because it can easily become infected with malware and other malicious programs. To remove this personal hotspot from your iPhone, follow these steps:
- First, make sure that your device is up and running. If it isn’t, then please check our article on how to fix an iPhone not working.
- Next, open the Settings app and select the General tab.
- Under Hotspots, select the Personal Hotspot option and click on the Remove button.
- Once this is complete, reboot your device and try again to connect to the internet using your personal hotspot!
