If you have an iPhone, then you know that there’s a built-in hotspot that allows you to easily connect to the internet. However, if you’re like most people, then you also have a personal hotspot set up on your device that is used for just one or two specific activities. This personal hotspot can be a nuisance because it can easily become infected with malware and other malicious programs. To remove this personal hotspot from your iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. First, make sure that your device is up and running. If it isn’t, then please check our article on how to fix an iPhone not working.
  2. Next, open the Settings app and select the General tab.
  3. Under Hotspots, select the Personal Hotspot option and click on the Remove button.
  4. Once this is complete, reboot your device and try again to connect to the internet using your personal hotspot!
