If you’re a Facebook user and have an inactive group, it’s time to take action. If you’re not sure if a group is inactive, check the group’s status on Facebook. If the group is inactive, it means that no one is currently member and there’s no way to join or remove members. To remove members from an inactive Facebook group, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Facebook and open the Group Settings page.
  2. On the Group Settings page, click on the “Edit” button next to “Group Members.”
  3. In the “Membership Status” field, click on the “Inactive” checkbox.
  4. Click on the “Remove Member” button to remove all members from the group.
