If you have a HP laptop, you may have noticed that the warranty status popup appears on the screen. This popup asks if you want to continue using your laptop or not. If you choose to continue using your laptop, the warranty status popup will disappear and the computer will be repaired or replaced. If you choose not to continue using your laptop, the warranty status popup will remain and the computer will be unrepairable. There are a few ways to remove the warranty status popup from your HP laptop:
- Open up Control Panel and click on System and Security. Under System Status, click on Check for Updates and then click on Remove.
- Open up System Preferences and click on Keyboard and Mouse. Under Mouse Properties, select Disable Popups from the pop-up menu.
- Open up HP Support Assistant and click on My Laptops in the left pane. Click on Add/Remove Laptops in the right pane. Under Warranty Status, select Disable from the pop-up menu for your specific HP laptop model.
