Google Plus is a social networking site that allows users to connect with friends and family. However, many Android users have decided to remove the Google Plus app from their devices because of its negative reputation. Google Plus was launched in June of 2012 as a competitor to Facebook. The site initially had high ratings, but it has since been criticized for being a privacy risk and for being slow and buggy. In March of 2018, Google announced that it was shutting down Google Plus. This means that all user data will be deleted by the end of the month. If you want to remove the Google Plus app from your Android device, there are several steps you can take:
- Open your device’s Settings menu and navigate to Apps > Google+. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen and select “Remove from Device”. If you do not see this option, your device may not have Google+ installed or it may be disabled.
- If you want to keep any of your data (such as posts or photos), you will need to export it before removing the app. To do this, open a web browser on another device and visit https://plus.google.com/settings/export?hl=en&tab=core&page=1 . You will need your account ID (which is displayed when you sign in) and your password to export your data. Once you have exported your data, tap on “Delete my account” at the bottom of the page and confirm that you want to delete your account.
- If you do not want any of your data saved on Google+, simply tap on “Remove from Device” when prompted by Step 1 above and confirm that you want to delete the app. ..
