If you’re using Instagram as your main social media platform, you may be seeing branded content from brands all over the place. If you’re not happy with the brand’s content, there are a few ways to remove it.
- Go to Instagram’s settings and select “accounts.” In this account section, select “user” and “profile.” In the “profile” section, select “brand.” Selecting this will remove the branded content from your account.
- If you’re using a phone app, go to that app’s settings and select “accounts.” In this account section, select “user” and “profile.” In the “profile” section, select “brand.” Selecting this will remove the branded content from your account if it’s installed on your device.
- If you’re using a website or app, go to that website or app’s settings and select “accounts.” In this account section, select “user” and then click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen that say “_blank”. This will add an “_blank” line at the bottom of each of your accounts so that branded content can’t be seen by anyone else on your device.
