If you’re like most PS4 owners, you’ve probably got a few screws left over from when you replaced your console’s internal hard drive. But before you can start putting your new system together, you need to remove those pesky black screws. Here’s how:

  1. Start by locating the Phillips head screwdriver that came with your PS4. It should be in the same place where the original screws were.
  2. Insert the screwdriver into one of the screw holes and turn it counterclockwise until it comes out. Be careful not to strip the screw!
  3. Repeat this process for all of the screw holes on your PS4 Slim console. Once all of the screws are out, you can start putting your new system together! ..
