Xbox One users can remove their accounts by going to the Xbox One dashboard and selecting “Manage Accounts.” From there, users can select “Remove Account” and follow the prompts.
The Steps:
1.Press Xbox button to open the guide and click Home Scroll down to Settings > All Settings.
2.Scroll down to My Xbox>My Xbox One .
3.Click Sign In & Security .
4.Scroll down to Manage Account where it says Xbox account.
5.Click on Your Xbox profile
6.Either sign in using your existing Xbox profile or create a new one
7.Once you are signed in, go back up to My Xbox and choose Manage my account again
8.(create a new Xbox account) Add information about yourself such as Birthday, name etc… this is optional but highly recommended you enter accurate info especially if you are wanting someone else to be able to recover your Xbox account for you later 8b.(existing Xbox account) Scroll down to where it says Xbox account management and choose how you want your Xbox account information displayed
9.Choose Xbox Privacy Settings .
10.Turn all of the Xbox Account privacy settings off (This is what I did but be aware that someone might still have access to your Xbox profile if they were previously signed in on this Xbox console)
11.Once you are done, go back up to Manage my account and choose Delete Xbox Account . A message will appear asking Are you sure? Select Yes delete .
12.(create a new Xbox account): Once the above steps are complete, return back to My Xbox >Manage Profile >Edit Profile Info and add whatever additional info you would like about yourself then choose Next .
13(create new Xbox Account): Choose Create a new account and choose Skip until you get to the box to enter your email address. Once you have entered this info select Done .
