If you’re like most people, you probably have Alexa devices in your home. These devices allow you to control various aspects of your home, such as turning on the lights and setting alarms. But if something goes wrong with one of these devices, it can be difficult to get it fixed. Here are some tips to remove all Alexa devices from your home:
- Disconnect the power cord from all Alexa devices.
- Remove any screws that hold the device together (these can be found near the back of the device).
- Lift up the device and remove it from its housing.
- Place the device in a safe place and discard it.
Go to alexa.amazon.com, click on “Alexa,” then click on the device’s name in the top right corner of your screen. Click “Manage voice settings” and uncheck all boxes (if applicable). Disconnect Alexa from SmartThings by going back to SmartThings and selecting “Smart Home Device Setup”
Tap My Home
Tap Add Thing at bottom of screen
Tap Connect
Enable the devices you’d like to connect with Alexa (e.g., “Alexa, discover my sensors”)
When prompted, enter the code listed on your Guardly device package or during set-up so we can connect them together. If you’re unsure which code to enter, contact us at [email protected]
