If you’re like most people, you probably have a few credit cards lying around your house that you don’t use very often. Maybe you’ve got one that you use for emergencies only, or one that you only use for small purchases. But if you ever decide to get rid of a credit card, it can be a little tricky to do so without damaging your credit score. Here are four ways to remove a credit card from your Vudu account:

  1. Call Vudu If the card is still active and has not been reported as lost or stolen, Vudu will likely be able to remove it for you. Just call customer service and explain what happened. They’ll ask for the account number and the security code on the back of the card, and then they’ll take care of everything from there.
  2. Use PayPal If your card is inactive or if it’s been reported as lost or stolen, PayPal may be able to help remove it from your account. Just sign into your PayPal account and click on “My Account.” Then click on “History” under “Account Activity.” Under “History Type,” select “Credit Card Removal Request.” Fill out all of the information requested, including the account number and security code on the back of the card. Once you’ve submitted the request, PayPal should contact Vudu to process the removal.
  3. Contact Your Credit Card Company If none of these methods work for removing a credit card from your Vudu account, then it may be time to contact your credit card company directly. Explain what happened and ask them if they can help remove the card from your account. Most credit cards companies will be happy to do this for you free of charge!
  4. Cancel Your Credit Card Account ..

– In the Vudu app go to “Settings” and then select “Account Information”.

– Once in Account information, click on the tab that says “Cards”.

– Click on the red button next to your name or email address.

You’ll see a window pop up with all of your cards listed. Select which one you want removed and confirm by clicking ‘Remove Card’‘. If it’s not already selected, it will ask if you’re sure – don’t worry! This is only for confirming.

The card as well as its details will be deleted within 24 hours.
