If you’re like most people, you probably don’t like the way black looks in your photos. It can be a little too dark, or too bland. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to recolor black in Photoshop so that it looks more like the colors you see in real life. First, open up Photoshop and create a new document. You can use any size or resolution that you want, but we recommend using at least 1000 pixels wide by 2000 pixels high. Next, select all of the black areas in your photo and click on the “Add a New Layer” button (located in the Layers panel). Name this new layer “Black,” and make sure that it’s set to “Multiply.” Then click on the “Colorize” button ( located under the Layers panel) and select “Hue/Saturation.” In the Hue/Saturation dialog box, change the Hue value to 180 degrees (or whatever color you want), and change the Saturation value to 100%. Click on OK to apply these changes to your photo. Now it’s time to start coloring your black areas. To do this, first select all of the white areas in your photo and click on the “Add a New Layer” button (located in the Layers panel). Name this new layer “White,” and make sure that it’s set to “Multiply.” Then click on the “Colorize” button ( located under the Layers panel) and select “Hue/Saturation.” In the Hue/Saturation dialog box, change both values to 100%. Click on OK to apply these changes to your photo. ..
