Xbox 360 controllers come with two types of batteries: the original Xbox 360 controller’s battery and the new Kinect-compatible battery. If you don’t have a Kinect, you can buy one from Microsoft. To put the batteries in your controller, first remove the back cover of your controller. Then, remove the two screws on either side of the battery compartment. Be sure to take off all of the screws before putting the batteries in. Now insert the new batteries into the compartment and screw them back in place. reattach the back cover to your controller and enjoy your new Xbox 360 controller with its new batteries!
