If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to capture and share photos and videos of your day-to-day life. But if you want to pause video on Instagram, there are a few steps you can take to make sure your videos stay paused.

  1. Open Instagram and sign in.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one that looks like a gear wheel). This will open a menu with several options, including “Video,” “Pause,” and “Resume.”
  3. Choose “Video” from the menu and then click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen again (the one that looks like a gear wheel). This will close the menu and return you to your original screen.
