If you want to move an image layer in GIMP, you first need to select the layer in question. Once you have selected the layer, click on the “Move” button located in the toolbar at the bottom of the window. GIMP will then display a list of options that you can use to move your image. The first option is to choose which direction you want to move your image in. You can then choose how much space you want to move your image by selecting a size from the drop-down menu.
