When you merge your two or more origin accounts, you’ll need to create a new one. This will allow you to keep all of your data in one place and make it easier to access your account information. To merge your accounts, follow these steps:
- Log into your account on both accounts.
- On the main account page, click on the “Merge Accounts” button.
- Enter the information needed to merge your accounts into one new account. You’ll need to provide your name, email address, and other account information.
- Click on the “Merge” button and wait for the process to finish.
Login to www.origin.com Click “My Account.” Under “Linked Accounts,” select a tab corresponding with a company whose games you would like to link (e.g., Blizzard, Ubisoft). Follow the on-screen instructions to link your account.
Your games are not accessible if any of the accounts you want to merge have previously logged into an Origin client in the past 30 days. Click
Addition Information – If you purchased a retail game with bonus content that is not available through Origin, those items will remain tied to your original username and access information (e.g., CD-KEY) and can only be used with a copy of the game purchased from a video game company other than EA Games or its subsidiaries (i.e., Ubisoft, Valve/Steam, Bethesda Softworks). Those accounts cannot be merged under any circumstances.
EA Accounts are designed to help you find all of your games in one place and enhance your game experience by offering services such as auto patching so that your favorite games are updated when we release new content (e.g., expansion packs). TIP: Please note that if you are using two-step verification on either of your accounts, the process will require accessing both account’s recovery options.
Step 1: Log into one of your accounts. Click here to log in and go to settings. (If you haven’t set up 2 step verification with your Google Account yet, click on “Set Up” first.)
Step 2: If you’re not already signed into a Google Account, sign in now by clicking Sign In at the bottom of any Gmail page. You’ll see your name at the top right corner of the screen–click it.
Step 3: Select Security from below your name. Scroll down until you find Signing in to Google . Click on Manage sign-in methods.
Step 4: Select Add another method and Add recovery phone number .
Step 5: Enter your mobile phone number. You’ll receive a text with a verification code to finish adding your number.
Step 6: Receive the code via text or call the automated system at +1-650-253-0000 (the U.S.) or 00800 999 9999 (Europe). Once you hear “Your recovery phone is set up”, click Next . If you cannot reach us, please let us know by filling out this contact form .
You will then see an option to Merge your account using your recovery phone, as well as other security options such as backup codes, backup email address or trusted contacts. If you do not see these options, your account recovery process is complete.
Step 7: (Recommended) Choose additional security features that will help ensure the privacy of your account and data. You can use either Backup codes to get into your account if you lose access to your mobile phone or Backup email address to provide a secondary way to verify your identity in case you forget your password .
