If you’re like most people, you probably use the map on your PlayStation 4 to navigate your way around games and other activities. But if you want to make sure that map stays accurate, there are a few things you can do. First, make sure that the map is up-to-date. The PlayStation 4 will automatically check for new updates every few days, but you can also manually check for updates by going to Settings > System > Updates. If there are any new updates available, the system will prompt you to install them. Second, be sure to mark your favorite locations. This way, if you ever lose your way or need to quickly find a specific spot in the game or on the map, you’ll be able to do so easily. To mark a location on the map, simply press down on the D-Pad and select “Mark Location.” You can then choose where you want the marker placed and press X or Square to confirm your selection. Finally, keep an eye out for obstructions and obstacles in your path. If there’s something in your way that might prevent you from reaching your destination or getting past an obstacle in a game, be sure to flag it as an obstruction so that other players won’t accidentally run into it while playing online games or using other applications on the PlayStation 4. To flag an obstruction, simply press down on the D-Pad and select “Flag Obstruction.” You can then choose where you want the flag placed and press X or Square to confirm your selection. ..
