If you’re like most Xbox 360 owners, you’ve probably gone through the hassle of replacing batteries time and time again. But there’s a much easier way to keep your controller working without having to fumble around in the dark for a set of batteries. All you need is a USB cable and your Xbox 360 controller. Plug the USB cable into your Xbox 360 and plug the other end into your computer. Now open up the controller’s configuration utility (by pressing the “X” button on the controller, then selecting “Settings”). Under “General,” make sure that “USB Port” is set to “On.” Finally, under “Devices,” make sure that your Xbox 360 controller is listed under “Ports.” ..
