If you’re like most people, you probably use Snapchat to keep in touch with friends and family. But if you’re like me, you also use it to make some really cool and unique notifications. One way to make your notifications sound really cool is to add a custom sound effect to them. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Snapchat app and sign in.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (or on the main menu if you’re using an Android phone). This will open a menu with several options, including “Notifications.”
  3. Scroll down until you find “Sound.” If it’s not already there, it will be added after a few seconds. If it is already there, just click on it and select “Create Custom Sound.”
  4. In the “Description” field, enter something about your new sound effect. For example, “A loud beep that plays when someone messages me.”
  5. Click on “Create!” and wait for the process to finish (it may take a few minutes). When it does, you’ll see a new notification in your inbox with your new sound effect attached!
