Instagram users are always on the lookout for new ways to share photos and messages with friends and family. But what if you don’t know whether or not someone has opened your photo message in a DM? Here’s how to check:

  1. Open the Instagram app on your phone.
  2. In the top left corner of the screen, tap on “DMs.”
  3. If you’ve sent a photo message, it will be displayed in this section. Tap on it to open it.
  4. If someone has opened your message, they will have written something in the “From” field and hit “Send.” Otherwise, the message will say “New Message.” ..
