If you have an Android device, you may be receiving system update notifications. These notifications may tell you about new features or updates for your device, or they may just tell you to install a new update. To stop receiving system update notifications, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app and select the General tab.
  2. Under “Notifications,” select “Never show me system updates again.”
  3. Close the Settings app and your device will no longer receive system update notifications.
