Xbox One Elite Controller grips can be a bit of a pain to fix. Here are some tips on how to fix them:
- Start by taking off the grip screws on the back of the controller. This will allow you to remove the grip altogether.
- Use a hairdryer to heat up the screws until they start to pop out. Be careful not to heat up too much of the screws, as this could cause them to break off and leave you with no controller at all!
- Once the screws have been removed, use a small flathead screwdriver to pry open the grip tabs on each side of the controller. This will allow you to remove any adhesive that may have built up around the edges of the grip.
- Once all of the adhesive has been removed, use a credit card or other flat object to push down on one end of each grip tab until they pop out from underneath the controller (carefully not to damage any components). Be sure not to over-tighten these tabs as this could cause them to break off and leave you with no controller at all!
