If your PlayStation 4 goes into a “rest” mode, there are a few things you can do to fix it. If you’re not sure how to fix it yourself, we’ll show you how.
- Check the power cord. Make sure the power cord is properly plugged in and that there’s no obstructions in the way of it.
- Check the system software. Make sure that your PlayStation 4 is up to date with the latest software patches and updates.
- Reset the system software. Resetting the system software will help fix any issues that may have occurred since it was last resetted or updated. To do this, open your PlayStation 4’s Settings app and select “Reset System Software.” After doing this, your PlayStation 4 should be back up and running as usual!
