If you’re like most people, you probably have an Xbox One Elite controller that’s been in a state of disrepair for some time now. The controller has a few small dents and some wear and tear, but it still works fine. However, if you’re like me, you don’t want to spend money on a new one. Instead, I suggest fixing the broken bumper on your controller. There are a few ways to do this. You can take the controller apart and replace the entire bumper with a new one, or you can just replace the part that’s broken. I recommend taking the controller apart because it’s easier that way. To start off, take off the two screws that hold the bumper to the console. Once they’re gone, remove the old bumper by pulling it out from underneath. You’ll need to use some pliers to get it off since it’s glued on securely. Once the bumper is off, put everything back together by re-attaching those screws and putting everything back together in reverse order from when it was taken apart. Now that your Xbox One Elite controller is back in working order, feel free to enjoy your new toy!
