If you’re ever locked out of your Android phone, there are a few things you can do to factory reset it. This will erase all your data and start from scratch.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap on the Security tab.
  2. Scroll down and select the Reset button.
  3. Tap on the Reset button again and confirm your decision by tapping on OK.
  4. The phone will reboot and will be ready to use again as if nothing happened.
