If your Nextbook laptop is having trouble starting up or you just want to reset it to its factory settings, follow these steps:

  1. Shut down your laptop and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Remove the battery and memory card if they are installed.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the laptop turns off.
  4. Release the power button and wait a few seconds until the laptop starts up again, then plug it in to AC power.
  5. When you see the startup screen, press F12 to enter recovery mode (this may take several tries). If you don’t see recovery mode after pressing F12, try pressing F2 instead (this will take you into setup mode).
