Zip recruiter also has a very hard time supporting special formatting such as headers, footers, and table of contents. ZipRecruiter will not accept the following: Word Documents HTML format Zip files Do not try to upload Zip files with ZipRecruiter. ZipRecruiter does have an ‘attachment’ section on their website where you can upload documents – however Zip Recruiter only allows you to upload 1 file at a time and the max size is 10MB (otherwise Zip Recruiter will reject your resume).
The most frustrating part of this all – ZipRecuites claims to support MS Word but in reality they do not. ZipRecurter cannot actually edit resumes in any useful way beyond basic grammar corrections.
ZipRecruiter will not accept Zip files, and Zip recruiters online application is only useful for basic grammar corrections. Zip recruiter also has a ‘free trial’ which they force you into when applying to jobs. Zip Recurter does not follow the definition of a free trial either — they require credit card information and charge $99 if you do not cancel your account before the 7th day of this trial period.
