Xbox One gamers have been asking for a way to do mercy on their console since the game’s release. Microsoft has been tight-lipped on the subject, but today they finally released a new video that shows how to do just that. The video is courtesy of Xbox One gaming community member “Killer_K” and it shows how to take advantage of the console’s “Xbox Live Gold” feature in order to forgive an Xbox One user for breaking its rules. The process is simple: first, you must create an account on Xbox Live and then sign in with that account when you want to start forgiving someone. Once you’ve done that, you can choose to forgive someone by selecting “Forgiveness” from the “Forgiveness” menu in their profile. After choosing forgiveness, your chosen user will be shown a list of all the games they’ve broken since joining Xbox Live. From there, it’s just a matter of selecting one game and forgiving it for all eternity!
