If you have an iPhone, there is a good chance that you have a proximity sensor. This sensor is used to determine if the user is within a certain distance of the phone. If this sensor is enabled, it will turn on when the user gets close to the phone. However, if you disable this sensor, your phone will not be able to determine if the user is close by and will not turn on the proximity sensor. To disable proximity sensor on your iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings and select General.
  2. Under “Privacy,” select “Location Services.”
  3. Scroll down and select “Proximity.”
  4. Toggle off the proximity sensor by turning it off with a switch or by pressing and holding down on it for two seconds.
