To delete your hangout messages, open the app on your phone and select “Delete All.” Then type in the name of the person or group you want to stop talking to. For example, if you’re a member of a Facebook group, type “Facebook” into the text field and hit “delete.”

A hangout is a group chat conversation that you can have with any number of people. It’s useful for chatting in real time, which means you get to see the person typing when they type, and it’s fun because if someone says something funny or interesting, the whole hangout will laugh at them since everyone sees it!
