Time Warner Cable says they are going to charge me $200 extra for “free HBO” that I’ve been getting for years now. Can they do this? And if so, what else can they take from me at will? It is already overpriced and their customer service makes us want something different.”
What obligations am I under when we break up? What happens if my ex-girlfriend does not pay off our shared credit card debt? Also, what happens if she keeps using my Netflix account (which I cancelled since we broke up). Thanks!
My father’s estate is being handled by an attorney and they were supposed to have paid off all the bills with his assets. There are still credit card bills however that should be paid for once everything is finished. My mother has dementia and cannot recall how much she spent on things when he was alive, and my sister is unwilling to help either. It was my responsibility in my father’s will to make sure this was all done correctly but nobody seems to want to talk about it or remember what happened with certain payments because they aren’t legally obligated or tied into it like family members would be, so I guess I am stuck trying to figure this out on my own. What do you suggest is the best way of going about getting this resolved and trying to figure out what happened, when, and with how much money?
I have a question that I need to ask. My daughter was arrested for burglary (3rd strike) last year but she has manage to get her second strike off through probation by getting anger management classes and staying clean at least until Dec/Jan 2014. Her third strike would be violating probation so there’s no real reason in taking it any further right now because it will still count as a fresh offense if she violates probation again instead of having both strikes dropped and being sentenced like last time which would have been 2 years minimum mandatory. What do you think, will they drop one or both strikes if mess.
