If you’re an AWS user, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of theDeleteAWS account feature. This is a handy way to remove your AWS account from your account settings, and it’s also useful if you want to move your data or services off of Amazon Web Services. To delete your AWS account:

  1. Log in to your AWS account.
  2. In the Accounts section, click on the DeleteAWS button.
  3. Enter the information required to delete your AWS account (user name, password, and region).
  4. Click on the Delete button.
