If you’re a Weebly user, there’s a good chance you’ve seen the deletion notice on your website. If not, it’s time to delete your account. Weebly is a website builder that can be used to create websites. But if you use Weebly to create a website that’s associated with another account or site, then you need to delete that account too. To delete an account on Weebly, go to the Accounts page and click on the “Delete Account” button. You’ll be asked for your username and password, and then you’ll be able to confirm your deletion by clicking on the “Delete” button.

Once you have been put through to Weebly’s backend, which is a Weebly page with the Weebly logo on it, you will see a lot of information. You must be extremely careful when deleting any data here as Weebly can not restore it once deleted; if incorrectly done, your Weebly website could become permanently unaccessible and no longer exist! Therefore I would recommend that you take time out to read Weebly’s help pages at https://support.weebly.com/customer/portal/articles/2447292-delete-my-website before actually deleting anything.

Weebly have been very helpful in providing this information to their Weebly site owners in advance of deleting your Weebly website.

This is a list of the different things that can be deleted and how: Weebly Website – The easiest way to delete your Weebly website is by following Weebly’s help guidelines which will tell you exactly what data to delete and where it all is, as well as explaining how to do it correctly so that there are no problems afterwards. We recommend that you follow these directions (and bookmark them!) for when you do decide to delete your Weebly website. It may take some time for Weebly’s backend to load but once it has done, if you scroll down further on Weebly’s help page you will find Weebly’s “Delete a Weebly Website” guide, which is very detailed. It tells you exactly what to do which is delete everything on your Weebly website and confirm with Weebly that you want to do this. If you have more than one Weebly website then Weebly’s guidelines will tell you how to delete all of them at the same time – otherwise, if you only have one Weebly site, just follow their instructions carefully and it should be fine.
