If you’re like most people, you probably have an account on PlayStation Network (PSN). But if you want to stop using it or uninstall it, there are a few steps you can take. First, open the PS3’s system tray and click on the “Settings” icon. Then select “Accounts and Content.” In this screen, select “Delete Account.” If you don’t have an account on PSN, select “Create New Account.” Now open your browser and type in “psn.com” into the address bar. If everything is working correctly so far, your PS3 will ask for your password. Type in that password and hit enter. Your PS3 will now beep and say that it’s successfully deleting your account. If everything didn’t work correctly, check back later when you have more time. Now close all of your programs and reopen them all in order to continue using your PS3 as normal.
