If you’re like most people, you use IMVU to communicate with friends and family. But if you ever need to deactivate your account, here’s how to do it. To deactivate your IMVU account:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click on the “Settings” button in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Under “Account Settings,” click on “Deactivate Account.”
  4. Enter your email address and password, and click on “Submit.”
  5. You’ll receive a confirmation email from IMVU, and your account will be deactivated. ..

To reactivate your account at any time, follow these same steps again but when you get to step four above, choose “Activate Your Account” instead of Deactivating it so that it will prompt you to enter your password and email address. Once entered correctly and confirmed with a verification code sent to your email address, you’ll be taken to the site where only logged-in users who are online right now or available offline if they’ve enabled that setting in their profile settings will show.
